Children enrolled in Checkmate Chess Academy’s Afterschool Program will participate in a 10 week course that includes weekly, 120 minute structured lessons for the entire class & one-on-one instruction with students during open play to meet each individual student at their level.
For the Winter Session we will be diving into the history of chess by studying previous and current Grand Masters and other chess figures games dating as far back as the early 1800’s.
